Charlie happily prepares to spend Christmas Eve as any pleasant night, getting lustily laid, this time by easy girl Gloria. As a good sport he allows the commoner's tradition, exchanging presents, to skin his wallet again, even smiling to Jake, grossly in the case of Berta, who milks him and still starts the infuriating practice of hanging around in his beach-house, making Charlie's sex chase a spectator sport, something Rose masters as with everything he ever did. Judith even brought her new fiancé, pediatrician Herb, and unreasonable as ever threatens her ex Alan because his other ex Kandi proves a sex-magnet for 'free diagnosing' Herb.
