Ash and the gang arrive at a town where they meet Gardenia, who is promoting Pokemon battles with many kids. Team Rocket then appears just to see Gardenia rushing to them as she sees Cacnea. She then had a thought of having a double battle with James against Ash and Dawn, who happily accept.
