Miami top real estate project developer Dominic Whitford is killed during a fund-raiser chaired by his wife, with playboy Neil Massey's abandoned .38. As CSI investigates, it turns out neither were actually there. This produces an atypical set of suspects, including his executive assistant Josh Brockner, and possible motives- for this murder and another, accidentally unearthed. Eric still wrestles with his '2nd learning curve'.
